Ing. Juraj Snopek<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

He was born in Handlov\u00e1 in 1964. He studied Railway Transport Operations and Economics at the former University of Transport and Communications in \u017dilina.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

He has been involved in genealogy for nearly 20 years.<\/p>\n\n

As the main administrator, he manages the genealogical forum\u00a0forum.geni.sk<\/a>, where he actively helps both beginner and advanced researchers. He is also active on other genealogical forums in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

He co-founded the civic association Genealogick\u00fd in\u0161tit\u00fat Slovenska (Genealogical Institute of Slovakia) and actively contributed to building the largest genealogical dictionary,\u00a0genedict.net<\/a>\u00a0, focused on translating terms from old historical documents. He is a member of the Slovak Genealogical-Heraldic Society.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

As a co-author, he contributed to the publication \u201cAko si vytvori\u0165 rodokme\u0148 (EN: How to Create a Family Tree.)\u201d<\/p>\n\n

He was born in 1995 in Pre\u0161ov and studied General Medicine at the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He has been involved in genealogy since 2010.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As one of the administrators, he manages the genealogical forum\u00a0forum.geni.sk<\/a>, where he actively assists both beginner and advanced researchers. He also played an active role in developing the largest Slovak genealogical dictionary, genedict.net.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He is the author of more than twenty professional articles in the field of genealogy and has repeatedly given lectures on genealogical topics at meetings of genealogists in Slovakia and Moravia.<\/p>\n

He specializes in research related to eastern Slovakia.<\/p>\n
